Re-write this paragraph, adding your own analysis to it as you do so.‘Famine is an everyday state of affairs for many people in third-world countries. Disease, early death, high rates of infant mortality and poverty are also daily companions to many of the world’s population. There is enough food in the world, and much of it is wasted in western countries. There is also enough money and wealth to allow all of the world’s people to live in good conditions. Food and shelter are two basic needs, but for many these are simply not available.’
