Scenarios

A number of animated resources have been developed with scenarios relevant to anti-sectarian education. There are different ways in which you can use these animations.

A: Watch straight through
You may then use some of the questions below as prompts to begin discussion.

B: Start/Pause/Continue
You could start and pause using questions like 'What would you do next'? or 'What do you think happens next'?

C: Role Play/Newsroom/Panel Discussion
You could Role play the scenes (download scripts) and adapt to your own area.

Newsroom: Show scenes and ask pupils to go into groups of 5 and write a news report for broadcasting, write up a newspaper article about the scene.

Question Time (more suitable for P7–S2): 5 pupils sit on the panel and discuss. You could rotate panels for each script. The rest of the class can then ask questions of the panel depending on panel discussions.
