Instructions

  2. Lay out the cards with the pictures on one side of the hall and the word cards on the other at one end of the hall.
  3. Place the teams at the opposite end of the hall to the cards.
  4. On the word 'go'. the first team member should run up and get a picture card and bring it back to the team.
  5. The second team member should take the card up to the word cards and try to find a word that matches the picture. Once they have found it they bring the pair back to the team. The third person then goes for a picture card, and so on until time or the cards run out.
  6. The team with the most correct cards wins.

Tips for facilitators
Once the teams have matched all the cards you can use this as a basis for discussion of world religions.

You can create new cards which you could put scenarios and reactions on, e.g. if you witness a sectarian incident what should you do. To make things even more tricky you could put wrong answer cards as well as correct answer cards, then put a time limit on the game and see how many the teams have got correct.

If you want to make this more competitive put a time limit on the game.
