- Sectarianism is not just confined to Christianity (Catholic vs Protestant)
- Showing respect for diversity in faiths and treating people equally
- Encourage people to use the website to explore sectarianism and religious intolerance.
Use the scenario to:
1. Explore the characters:
- What did the young people learn from using the site?
- What did they learn about the way they treated Vijay?
- What did they realise about their own faith?
2. Discuss incidences of sectarianism and religious intolerance:
- Why is there conflict between Shia and Sunni Muslims?
- Are there other religions which have such conflicts?
- Are there any other examples of religious intolerance in Scotland?
- What can you do to challenge sectarianism and religious intolerance?
