Learning and Technology Directorate
The Learning and Technology Directorate focuses on two main areas, both of which are also two of LTS's programmes of work.
One is the the ground-breaking Glow Programme, which is developing a national schools intranet - the first in the world. You can find out more about it on the Glow website.
The second is the Schools' ICT Programme which includes the provision, maintenance and expansion of the LTS Online Service and research into using new technologies in teaching and learning.
The Directorate also manages the installation, maintenance and development of Learning and Teaching Scotland's corporate ICT infrastructure.

Laurie is responsible for leading and developing strategy to maximise the benefits of ICT in support of national and local educational developments and to ensure effective and efficient corporate working practices.
