Learning and Teaching Scotland produces publications for the education community. We produce websites, books, learning packs, curriculum guidelines, newsletters, consultation documents, reports, CD-ROMs and promotional items.
LTS aims to publish relevant, concise, well-structured and clearly presented information. The information on this page provides guidance on how to achieve this when developing print materials for LTS.
Publishing Guidelines
The LTS Publishing Guidelines are available on the LTS Web Standards and Guidelines website. They are suitable for anyone who is developing material for LTS, whether for a print publication, a CD-ROM or textual content for a website.
They contain information to help you produce your material, including guidance on approaching the writing, using plain English, inclusive language, and how to deliver the final material to LTS. They also contain the house style guidelines, which cover standards for spelling, abbreviations, punctuation, etc.
Corporate Identity Guidelines
Guidance on how to use the LTS logo and corporate colours in publications, resources, marketing materials and online.
