Our procurement procedures
Learning and Teaching Scotland procures goods and services from many external organisations. As a non-departmental public body we make sure our procurement procedures are fair and open whilst ensuring that we achieve best value for money.
Depending upon the value, all purchases will be subject to either a purchase order or contract, or if over £10,000 a competitive tender process. In most cases Learning and Teaching Scotland will also issue a contract to the supplier concerned.

Depending on the nature of the work, our Standard Terms and Conditions for contracts may also be applicable; suppliers responding to an Invitation to Tender must agree to these terms.
