Frameworks

A key aspect to LTS meeting its remit is the development and production of materials to guide and support teachers, learners and others. A range of printed materials is required to support the work of LTS.

As a result Learning and Teaching Scotland has awarded a Framework Contract for print services. The contract is open to the other public sector contracting authorities in Scotland (for example, health bodies, non-departmental public bodies and agencies).

The Print Framework will run from March 2007 for 24 months, with the option for two 12-month extensions.

The main areas of print requirements for LTS are:

Design

Print finishing

Web conversion

CD-ROM and DVD duplication/production

Translation

Marketing materials

Signage, mostly for conferences
