    At the Scottish Learning Festival on September 23, 2009, the Education Secretary Fiona Hyslop announced the publication of the strategic vision and key principles for assessment in Curriculum for Excellence.

    News that the Scottish Qualfications Authority (SQA) is to launch a revised Higher history exam that will include a paper on Scottish history. A link to an article from Scotland on Sunday is provided.
