Fiona Hyslop, Scottish Government Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning, and Keith Brown, Minister for Schools and Skills, formally launched the Curriculum for Excellence guidance on Thursday 2 April in Stirling.
Curriculum for Excellence is the most radical education reform in Scotland for a generation. It describes the purposes of learning from 3 to 18 and entitlements for all learners.

The Scottish Government has published the findings of the public consultation on the next generation of National Qualifications in Scotland. The Consultation was launched by the Scottish Government on 10 June 2008 and it ran until 31 October 2008.
Ipsos MORI was commissioned to produce this report of the findings. The full report and a summary paper are now available to read on the Scottish Government website.
