Speakers at Communicate.06 - 'Communication'

John Johnston

John's professional life began with zoo-keeping, and an interest in conservation and research. He then trained for the PGCE and has been a primary class teacher for 14 years. During this time, he developed a parallel interest in ICT, sparked by HyperCard. This deepened and led to working on and creating learning resources with HyperCard, SuperCard and Flash. For some time, John has worked with children producing digital content, and this has involved digital video, video conferencing, blogging and podcasting projects.

Lynne Horn

Lynne is PT of the Language Faculty in Tobermory High School and is also involved with Partners in Excellence through Argyll & Bute Council. She is interested in teaching languages with technology and using new technology to motivate learners and enhance attainment and achievement in languages.
