Welcome to the MFLE email update for May. We launched a new website - Confucius Classrooms - on 7 April, and we have focused on related chinese resources and ideas for you to try in the classroom. We've also added Spanish and Italian to our Reference Grammars for primary, and highlighted some of the latest news and professional development for you.

The ‘online hub’ is now live with information about the programme, resources and examples of practice in Scottish schools.
These National Qualifications Curriculum Support resources provide listening and speaking exercises to support the teaching of Mandarin (Simplified and Traditional) at Access 3 level. The resources are available in both PDF and Word format, with the accompanying listening recordings in mp3 format.

The paintings reproduced on this website are taken from ‘The Silent Traveller: A Chinese Artist in Lakeland’.
