The world news appears on the French channel regularly throughout the day with regional variations early in the morning and during the night. You can also watch on demand on TV5's website.

JournalDW-TV, 1400 and 1600

The news appears in both English and German throughout the day. At these times it’s in German. You can also watch on demand and live on the DW-TV website.

Every weekday

Say It with NoddyChannel five, 0800 (various languages)

Series introducing children to French, Spanish, Mandarin, Swahili, Russian and Urdu through the adventures of Noddy and his Toyland friends.

Every Friday

Quadriga, DW-TV, 1530

Four journalists talk about the week’s main news story in Germany. Good for Advanced Higher German speaking and listening. DW-TV can be watched live on the DW-TV website.

BBC language programmes

Languages on TV on the BBC Learning Zone  (BBC TWO Learning Zone)

Languages programmes are on TV overnight so you'll need to set your video/DVD the evening before.
