About the MFLE

The Modern Foreign Languages Environment (MFLE) is a pilot project - a first for modern languages. It is funded by the Scottish Executive Education Department (SEED).

Learning and Teaching Scotland is working in partnership with the Scottish Centre for Information on Language Teaching and Research (Scottish CILT) to provide content for this website. We have also had overwhelming support from education authorities who, along with many languages practitioners throughout Scotland, have contributed content and resources.
