Robert Burns resources

The Scotland’s culture, history and heritage website now includes a new area dedicated to Robert Burns. The new section features an interactive map of places connnected with Robert Burns, with poetry and extracts from letters. There are a range of teaching and learning resources on Scots literature and language, Scottish song and traditional music, the historical context in which Burns was writing and the role of these in shaping modern Scottish identity.

The new area also features the Poets’ Blog, which documents the thoughts of three Scots poets as they write their personal response to Burns, in this 250th anniversary of his birth.
