Creating a dance about the planets
Provision of dance within physical education in primary schools is a bit patchy. There are some local authorities like Dumfries and Galloway and Aberdeenshire and Highland where country dancing is supported by annual festivals and other school events.
Many teachers are trying to incorporate dance and other expressive arts into work they are doing in Environmental Studies or for end of term shows and even for enterprise events.
