The links with other curricular areas suggested on page 17 of National Guidelines 5-14: Religious and Moral Education (1992) are still relevant. At Levels E and F in English Language and Environmental Studies, skills and knowledge are developed which reinforce aspects of Level F in Religious and Moral Education. Teachers of Religious and Moral Education should, therefore, familiarise themselves with the attainment targets and programmes in these subjects.
