Under the Curriculum for Excellence review, these curriculum areas and subjects will be grouped into eight new curriculum areas.
These curriculum areas will be refreshed and refocused in accordance with the purposes and principles of the curriculum and there will be a strong emphasis on cross-curricular projects and studies.
